Register Your Business

Create an account and complete your business profile with your site address and invoicing details. All businesses must acknowledge that chefs work on a self-employed basis.

Post Your Roles

Log the roles you need cover for - Head Chef, Sous Chef, CDP, Commis, or Kitchen Porter. Set your dates, times, and any accommodation details.

We Match You With Chefs

Once your roles are approved, our verified chefs can apply. Our system matches the right chef for your requirements based on experience and availability.

Pay the Chef Direct

You pay the chef directly on a freelance basis. Chefs submit their invoices directly to you. We ask that invoices submitted by 12pm Monday are paid by 5pm Friday of that week.

Arrangement Fee

Catering Temps will issue the arrangement fee to you separately for payment. This covers our matching service and ongoing support.

View available roles that match your skills and location. Apply for the shifts that work for you - you're in control of your schedule.

Complete Your Shifts

Clock in and out using our QR system. Your hours are tracked automatically and shared with the business for confirmation.

Invoice & Get Paid

Submit your invoice directly to the business. Invoices submitted by 12pm Monday should be paid by 5pm Friday. You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.

⚠️ Important Information

Self-Employment Status

All chefs working through Catering Temps operate on a self-employed basis. This means chefs are responsible for their own tax returns and National Insurance contributions. Catering Temps holds no liability for non-payment of tax or National Insurance by chefs.

Right to Work

All chefs must provide valid right to work documentation before commencing any work. We verify all documentation and maintain secure records for compliance purposes.

Payment Terms

Chefs invoice businesses directly for their work. We request that all invoices submitted by 12pm Monday are paid by 5pm Friday of that same week. Catering Temps will issue arrangement fees separately.
